Awesome 1972 Buick GSX Tribute with 455 Stage 1 engine rebuilt with roller rockers, moderate cam, Edlebrock Performer intake manifold with Edlebrock 750 CFM carburetor, GM HEI distributor, long tube headers and dual exhaust. Nicely optioned with working factory air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, power front windows, tilt steering column with GS Sport steering wheel, hood tach and new reproduction quartz dash clock. Updated Pioneer in dash stereo with Kenwood front kick panel mounted speakers and two 6"x 9" speakers in rear dash. Rare N25 through the bumper exhaust tips, Buick TurboHydramatic 400 automatic transmission, 12 bolt Positraction rear end with 3.73 gears and aluminum girdle bearing support cover, newer 17" American Racing aluminum wheels with newer B F Goodrich 235/45ZR17 g Force radials up front and 275/40ZR17 on rear. Updated heavy duty wiring to cure the common problem of slow cranking due to heat soak of starter. Nicely updated GSX interior with super rare GSX embossed seat covers and newer carpeting. Oil pressure and water temperature gauges under dash. Although not numbers matching, this car started life as a real 1972 GS and was converted to a GSX clone. Previous owner has indicated that entire drivetrain has been fully rebuilt with a 1970 455 Buick V8, casting # 1281738, rebuilt to Stage 1 specs with the addition of roller rocker arms and what appears to be a moderate cam judging by the idle.Turbo 400 transmission with chrome TCI finned pan & drain plug and date code correct 12 bolt Positraction rear end (which may be original) have both also reportedly been rebulit . New spark plugs, HEI distributor cap and rotor. Car also has heavy duty F41 suspension with sway bars front and rear, factory boxed lower rear control arms, rare factory rear control arm braces (upper to lower) and no hop bars installed. Mileage is UNKNOWN as speedometer has been replaced. Appears to have new starter, windshield wiper motor and new rear brakes. Back up lights and windshield washer do not work. Rust free, solid car with nice Apollo White paint and GSX front and rear spoilers and graphics. Full size spare tire/wheel and jack included. This car is a real headturner and backs up its good looks with the performance and torque only a big block Buick can provide. Includes original owner"s manual AND full paper version of GM Chassis Service Manual. Some receipts are also included.
