This is a GT500E “e” means eleanor clone and is currently listed as #401 on the EWR Registry ( https:/ www.eleanorregistry.com ,seems site is temporarily down), Not an original Shelby otherwise it’d be 6figures this is a Tcode care with Scode engine and parts. This is a $50K+vehicle with all that has been done, since a Shelby convertible is really rare. Worth much more when fully restored. This has new built 390 High Performance Big Block, Ford Racing 5 Speed, Less than 520 miles on new engine, runs and isable to drive today, Many new Parts and lots of the restore work already done. Hundreds of hours and thousands have been poured into it. The engine is a brand new built 390 FE Big block High performance. It has all new internals. Very strong, healthy and sounds like a beast. The 5speed transmission is all new and the rear end is all new 9" with 3.73gears. Cranks runs and drives great, if planning to carry multiple passengers may need some spacers as tires can slightly rub on fender pieces when weighted, but I only rarely solo drove so no issue for me. The paint was done prior to my ownership. the paint medium blue with white stripes and the paint is over 10 years old with multiple flaws. Convertible frame is good but material has a hole and needs to be replaced (New top provided still in the box). There are spots around the flares that will need to be corrected prior to paint, and possibly some spacers in the springs.It is a very solid car, but if you want a show car, this may not be for you. Again it cranks up and runs good. Not perfect but priced to sell for what it is and what"s been put into it.
