HI, I am an owner of a limo company in South Jersey I just took this vehicle in on a trade-in 2/7/22 and I will try to describe it to the best of my 40 year knowledge.
First let me tell you that these cars make their own market value whatever you purchase this car for or whatever you invest in it even if you did nothing to it but let it RUST! in your driveway next year it will be worth more money the price will never go down it’s always going up but of course you knew that.
If you’ve ever watched the Barrett Jackson or Mecum auto auctions. The announcers like Steve Magnante in their commentary will say “well-bought!” Then they follow up by saying you cannot build this car from scratch for the price it sold for… guys you cannot build this car from scratch for my originally $15,000 asking price. Then you would need to have the patience to wait about 3 years to complete the build. You can buy it now for $12,000 and its turnkey and ready to go! Also this is a great opportunity for an East Coast Buyer. These cars are usually on the other side of the country so there’s no need to Pay $1,000 just to hop a flight stay the weekend kick the tires and NOT BUY it… if you live in the tri-state area you could drive down see this car in person in a few hours.
The former owner told me this is the list of work that has been done to it within the last year.
New Intake New Flowmaster exhaust New cobra wheels and tires New lowered Suspension New convertible top New rear window New brakes New battery New alternator New belts New radiator
I only drove this car for about 10-15 mins The motor was quiet. The Magna flow mufflers sounded Great! The trans shifted smooth and the brake stopped nice all in all it was a good running and driving vehicle. The race suspension was very low and a Felt very hard for me but then again I am an older man.
It looks very sharp and aggressive. I’m sure with the right graphics or decals you could take this car over the top. The triple black paint is very shiny looks like lacquer “but it’s not. .“ it does have a few minor cracks. On the street it has a show quality appearance. You would have no problem driving this as a daily driver and taking it to any local or national car show to show it off and enjoy on the weekend. The top works perfectly and is practically new so is the rear windows the glass and all the electrical windows are working perfectly. The interior also is practically new very clean crisp and does not smell musty or dirty The door panels the dashboard the rugs look beautiful. All in all this is a good honest repainted daily driver show car.
