Extra Clean…
Just traded at the local new car dealer, here is a darn near perfect Forester with an extra nice leather interior and gorgeous body that runs nice enough to give to your daughter and know she’ll get there safely and comfortably. Mechanically I can’t find any faults as the 2.5L motor runs smooth and strong w/ reference to timing belt service under the hood in 2013, transmission shifts right on time, brakes and suspension feel good and tires are a nice matching set with 50% tread. There is a slight exhaust rattle and the rear shocks make a little noise but neither need to be addressed right away. There are no warning lights on the dash and no apparent leaks. The interior is gorgeous with clean heated genuine leather seats with only the driver"s seat showing a small rub mark but no tear, perfect carpets throughout, tight headliner around the panorama sunroof and all the options work including heat, AC, stereo, windows, locks and cruise. There are no bad odors inside. The body shows beautifully with metallic dark gray paint, no big dents or major signs of rust and the undercarriage looks clean too. The front bumper appears to have been repainted but there are no signs of damage. If you were looking for an extra-nice affordable all-wheel drive car, this one will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction.

My name is Barry and I own Michael’s Auto Center in New Hope, Pa. We sell all of our cars through No-Reserve auctions on a wholesale AS-IS basis and have done so for the past 15 years. The majority of our cars come from the local new car dealerships just as they are traded from their previous owners. We sell exclusively on auction to other dealers and the general public and advertise them in their AS-IS state as we would sell to another used car dealer. We have since sold over 10,000 cars in this fashion. As is the case with all our cars, we don’t do repairs or reconditioning, and try to describe them to the best of our ability. We drive each and every car to determine what we feel is the current condition both mechanically and cosmetically. If dash lights are on, we tell you and if they are not on and come on for you on your trip home, it is your responsibility as our cars are sold AS-IS. If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. It is the buyer’s responsibility to perform a pre-sale inspection or express any and all concerns prior to placing a bid and prior to winning the final binding auction. What’s “Wholesale” ?
The cars you see on our auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins”. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Electronic options including but not limited to power windows, locks, sunroof, cruise control, air conditioning, stereo etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working.
Administrative Fee Over the past 15 years in business the costs of doing business have increased dramatically. Most dealers have “doc fees” added to the balance. For our purposes, a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car is required, and any motor vehicle fees are separate and additional.
Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates
Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 60 day plates for the state fee of $70. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items. State fees apply.
“0” feedback bidders should call or email prior to placing your bid We do not want to discourage you from bidding, only to verify that you are serious! Without this contact your bid will be cancelled. Payment If you are a winning bidder, kindly contact me via email immediately at the end of the auction for verification. Our requirements are that the high bidder should pay an immediate deposit of $500 via PayPal upon completion of the auction and the car should be paid in full within 7 days via cashiers check, bank wire transfer, cash if in person or money order. The deposit can also be made over the phone via MasterCard or Visa; however, payment in full cannot be made with a credit card or PayPal. If payment of the car is not fulfilled within the specified time, deposit in-full will be forfeited, the car will be offered for re-sale and feedback will be left accordingly.
