Very desirable 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SEL this is the W126 chassis. This is a daily driver and a great example of true German engineering. The vehicle has brow exterior with tan interior.The original paint has some minor blemishes, with the main issue being the clear coat peeling off the roof, trunk lid and hood (please see details in photographs). The original interior is complete, however the bottom front seats will need recovering (please see pictures). This is originally a Mid-south vehicle that I purchased in Memphis TN. I’m the third owner. The vehicle runs well and driven daily, to and from work. Service done in the last 5 month includes: New (OEM) transmission pump and reverse clutch. New (OEM) ignition wire set, points and plugs. New AC blower motor. New front break pads. New set of YOKOHAMA tires with less than 1700 miles on them. I replaced both accumulators for the rear self-leveling suspension [New OEM] New 5 pin relay for power seat.
The original Becker radio works on and off, however I never try the cassette player. Power adjustable front seats working. Power antenna works. Power door-lock works. Power windows all in good working order. Power sunroof in working order. Adjustable power rear seat works. Heated front-seat works. Has a small rust-bubble under the passenger side rear tail light (please see photo) Heater works fine, AC however will need to be recharge, wasn’t very cold last summer.
This is not a new car, therefore, it is sold As-Is with no guarantees or warranties, either expressed or implied. After all, it is a 32 year-old vehicle, so not perfect.
