Up For sale is my 1971 Volvo P1800E. this car is truly a Time capsule . This is the first year Volvo started to use (BOSCH) Fuel injection instead of carburetor. (the "E" stands for Einspritzung , the German word for fuel injection ). It is 99% all original. The only thing not original is the fuel pump which was recently replaced. Car Start, Run, Cruise and Stop without any issue. No oil leaks. Sound and feel very good. It has original 5 speed transmission (the fifth is overdrive). The interior is complete. I have the original wheels that will go with the sale, including the chrome for the front and rear windows. Original Volvo radio (Speaker need to be connect) Mechanically no issue. Cosmetic, it will need a new headliner. The driver seat will need reupholster, speedometer will need new glass. The upper dashboard has crack. On the outside, the chrome is in excellent condition. Both doors, trunk, and hood open and close like they left the factory, very smooth and all the line match. There is rust that can easy repair (patch) in the trunk and the driver floor. Some spot of bubble in the lower grill and below quarter panel. Overall, it is in good condition. I bought it to restore with my boys but they decided that 4 cylinder doesn’t sound like American V8, so I will need to search for old muscle instead to make them happy. Any question?
