It was built for ex-NHRA funny car driver Simon Menzies in 2005. It was featured in the May 2011 issue of Mopar Muscle magazine. It was built to replicate the 1965 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car with a modern touch! It is powered by a 2004 Dodge Magnum 5.7 liter Hemi motor and mated to a correct A833 four speed manual transmission with the factory console and a Hurst shifter. It has a Chrysler 8 3/4 inch rear end with 3.23 gears. It is equipped with power steering and a nice 4 wheel power disc brake conversion. It runs on 18 inch factory Magnum R/T wheels. It is painted the correct white and has a black custom bucket seat vinyl interior. It also has the factory black vinyl power top which works properly. This is a rare car that you will not likely see when you go to the car shows! It runs and drives great and the modern drivetrain makes for a fun and pleasant experience over the stock setup!
