Lets just be honest here about this old vette. As of late, there are so many late night game playing bidders who bid and don"t follow thru that I have decided to basically just do a sort of classified listing of this nice old car. I am selling for a friend, but I have known about this car for over 40 years! Its always been stored in a building in a nearby town by a family who were all chevy guys and a couple of the brothers were vette guys, life moves on, after college and careers start and finish, retirement comes and the old cars are cast aside , now is your chance to buy one of the neatest cars ever like we used to find when we went to the Corvette Expo in Knoxville, or the Corvettes of Carlisle.
WE would stand and wait at the gates watching the vettes rumble thru and follow the favorite ones to there spot int he stable,, trying to make that deal! ! you may not remember those times but I sure do
This is an honest car, , but has its flaws, it was a silver blue car with dark dark blue interior and someone painted it yellow in the mid 70s. The paint is still nice today and is very usable. It shines very good. The interior is very nice on the car and is near perfect,, Most everything works on the car, I am sure you will have to fix a few things but not many. It runs drives and stops and does it all with vigor! !
I am not going to put a stupid high price on the car and have people make stupid low ball offers,, I am going to put the price on the car that it takes to buy it and put it out there and if you want a nice car, this is it,, you don"t have to tell me that the yellow hurts it,, I know it does,, but that"s your chance to save about 4 k on a wrong color car that is otherwise very very untouched! !
I will be glad to put the car on the rack for you when you arrive,, its decent underneath and even sports its original fuel line,, that"s a good sign of a car that"s is not rusty! and by the way, the car comes with what is thought to be its original owners manual! ! 1st edition.
