Vehicle description
Ive owned this car for about 8 years, many new parts and labor. Its a Pontiac Lemans Convertible. It has had new floors and trunk floor, rebuilt 350 engine, new transmission. It has been gone through rather meticulously. All lights work on the car including the courtesy lights. The power top works, but the top itself could be better. Its good enough in case you get caught in the rain, but I use it with the top down, so havent had much desire to replace it. Memorable on the parts list are these items, speedometer was rebuilt, tachometer added to dash. aftermarket AC system, which works, you can see the new control in the dash, but It could be relocated. There is a stereo in dash, but I lost the faceplate for it. Obviously the wiring would be there ready to go for a new one, but I would relocated the radio remotely somewhere out of sight to retain stock look. GTO taillights are in it. New exhaust underneath. This would make a good GTO clone, but its nice the way it is. The car was painted some number of years ago and is generally still nice, but there are a very few nicks on drivers quarter panel no doubt from parking lot people. The orignal paint can with code is included for matching. This would also be useful if replacing hood and bumper with GTO type. Valance panel and turn lights were replaced with new units. The car dives well day or night, and the throttle reponse is very quick with the Demon Carb and rebuilt engine. The engine is about 320 Hp with 10 to one compression and a cam. It does have that sound of a cam when idling and quick windup. Turn lights work as they should. It had a new gas tank, carb and fuel pump while going through it. New ignition switch. There is probably much more over the years that I have forgotten about. It has a spare that was removed for pictures. The console is functional with a new door on top and some sort of Hurst gated Shifter. Im sure someone will correct me on that, but I just dont care about racing. The chrome shines well on the bumpers and I dont see any dents, they are new. Any more questions please send to me and Ill try to answer. Ill try to take some pictures of the underside later in the auction when I can get under it. Since Ebay limits photos, you may need to message me for those pics. There is what appears to be rust residue in the trunk, but its spilled coolant on top of the sealer for the trunk. There is no rust of the metal in the trunk. 237678P342531
