Good day everyone I understand why you have picked this listing….This is a rare and highly sought after Mercedes E300 Turbo Diesel Intercooler. Yes the one that everyone is talking about… the renowed legendary Mercedes om606 and Yes TurboCharged. Mercedes only made the E300 TD for only two years so there is only a handful of them left many have sorted this vehicle to pull there engines out for their project high hp monsters. These engines have gained a reputation for longevity and low cost of mantainance. They are one of the most robust engines every produced by Mercedes… and may i say the best in my opinion which is factual. I have been given the oppurtunity to offer this highly desireable vehicle for your consideration. Please bid early and dont miss an opportunity that you may regret for years to come.
A young at heart Mercedes Diesel with lots of life left in it. Drives well on a fresh set of Michelin Primacy allseason tires purchased at Costco. Recently serviced and ready for a cross country trip where this vehicle shines. Fresh oil and filter change, the waterpump and coolant was also replaced. Brakes stop sure and straight and just recently the front pads were replaced. This vehicle has been a south Florida car all its life.The prevoius owners were in the Family so technically it just has had two owners myself the mechanic and the doctor who owned it previously. The Mercedes has never had any accidents and the autocheck shows it service and verifies the authenticity of mileage and services. The transmission has been serviced regulary and shifts great. Drives great for a vehicle of its vintage. There are no check lights or issues on the instrument cluster NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. The glow plugs are good and have been serviced throughout its life. The fuel lines and connectors are new and leak free.there are no starting issues or problems with the engine.
The exterior has some scratches dings and is not perfect but looks good. All the lights work great and the air conditioning is ice cold during our 100 degree days. All windows work well however the sunroof does not open. THERE IS NO RUST anywhere.
This vehicle can cruise all day with the cruise control on,at triple digit speeds,the 5 speed transmission keeps the revs low and fuel efficiency is optimal and impressive at 35 mpg hwy.
The interior shows wear due to the Florida sun and is very comfortable and quiet. The engine runs extremely quiet and serene. The turbo kicks in with a great deal of authority and minimal smoke.
