Vehicle description

2008 Mercedes Benz E350 4 matic, with 111,020 miles. I inherited this car from my mother after she passed awaytwo years ago. My mother and father werebig fans of Mercedes cars, but it’s an extra car for me. The good – paint is glossy and looks great, the interior is clean and free of squeaks and rattles. The engine is incredibly smooth, and the transmissionshifts really well. The AC and automaticclimate control work really well. Theride is immensely comfortable and the car handles well. The bad: it’s a 13-year-old car that haslived in New Hampshire. There is a fairamount of rust underneath. There are somescratches in various places, and I’ve tried to photograph most of them. There is a shade for the rear window, but theoperation does not work. The radio isstuck on satellite radio. The OEM rimshave several hits and a few bends, but they are very heavy, balance fine, and arestill smooth even at 80 mph. The belttensioner is showing signs of wearing, and the estimate from my independent shopis $1,081 for parts and labor. There isan outstanding MB recall on the sunroof, related to the glass panel bondingarea. The car has been regularly serviced, and the oil was last changedat 107,000 miles. I would shoot for oilchanges about every 6k miles. Driverseat cushion and cover replaced at 93k. The cover had a few small cracks and the cushion was ok, but I have ahamstring injury and appreciated fresh seats. The new cover does not look any different than the passenger seat or therear seats. Battery was replaced at 95k,and these are good for about ten years. Replaced rear rotors and pads at 88k. They were not worn out, but since the car hadbeen sitting, they developed some corrosion that wouldn’t go away during normaldriving. Front pads and rotors werereplaced at 81k. The car comes with the OEM wheels and fresh snow tires thatwere replaced at about 108k. Analignment was done at that time as well. The OZ wheels and all-season tires on the car now can be purchased separatelyfor $500 in addition to the final auction price. You are welcome to come view the car. I’m in Nashua NH. Shipping is the responsibility of thepurchaser if you go that route. I willtry to be accommodating as I can, but I have commitments at work. I have the title and there are no liens on the car.
