This is your chance to bid on a driver quality 300D with a history of reliability and dependability. I"m going to highlight the positives and also describe anything that to my knowledge does not work or needs attention. I"ve been using this W123 for my commute from San Diego to LAX for years. Aside from oil changes and the maintenance I will describe below, this car has been trouble free. It tracks straight at 75 MPH on the 5/405 freeway and provides a 28-30mpg fuel economy. It is comfortable, runs strong, and gets compliments on a routine basis. These cars are continuing to go up in value and this car is a solid example. It would be a great daily driver or candidate for restoration, if you wanted to create a collector"s piece. Clean title.
The Good: New tires 2017. New upper and lower ball joints 2017. Car drives well in any climate and tracks straight. Body is pretty solid, interior is clean and glass is good. Heater, fan, windows, sunroof and instrument cluster all work. Tach, odo, speedo and all guages work. Engine mounts just replaced last week! Idles and runs smooth!
Bad: Hood hinge spring on driver"s side broken, the hood hinge has completely detached from the hood/car. AC does not work, Paint is rough -clearcoat peeling. Hood sanded but not finished and will need to be prepped before repaint. Corrosion developing on a couple wheel wells. During heavy rains, water will collect on the rear seat floor pans. I removed the rear carpet. Left overnight on my concrete driveway there will be 2-3 drops of oil. The vehicle does not need oil in between oil changes.

California buyers: Currently DMVs in my area are not open. Car has $194 in fees owed. If I can"t pay it before the auction ends, I will refund the owed DMV fee cost of $194. Hopefully with things starting to open, I"ll get it done. Also vehicle is smog exempt.
