Vehicle description
Vehicle Details For the Driver only. If you're looking at this listing then i'm assuming you know exactly what you're looking at and why. These are probably the last great M cars BMW will produce. The M3/4 grow larger each generation and now have a terrible looking front end as well while the M2 Competition maintains its beautiful lines and smaller tighter proportions. Plenty of power is on tap from the twin-turbo S55 power plant routed exclusively to the rear wheels through a 6 speed manual transmission and an electronically controlled locking (M) differential ensuring you the driver has complete control of what the M2 is doing in any circumstance. The modifications made to this specific M2 are all in the name of Driver engagement and engine/drivetrain longevity. While most would be content that BMW even offers a manual transmission for the M2 I wasn't satisfied with the lack of feedback from the clutch pedal and shifter so i removed the CDV valve (clutch delay valve) that normally slows the re-engagement of the clutch for inexperienced drivers. Now the driver is greeted with positive feedback from the clutch pedal as it engages, the speed and force it engages with is up to the driver (as it should be) without the car slowing your shift. The stock shift assembly clearly has been designed so that anyone even your 80Yr old grandmother (bless her heart) can use it. This translates to tons of slop and play and much less than desirable shift feel. We remmedied this with the help of AutoShift solutions. We reduced the actual shifter height by .25" aligning it properly for anyone 5'5" and taller as well as reducing the throw length by 16%. the feel has been drastically improved by replacing the stock rubber bushings in the shift assembly with polyurethane. this has eliminated any sloppiness and ensured a very positive shift feel. We upgraded the entire cooling circuit with the Air-to-Water Mishimoto powerpack. This included a larger heat exchanger as well as much larger charge cooler and metal charge pipes eliminating the plastic connectors that deteriorate over time. This helps keep temperatures lower reducing wear and tear on the engine over time. The 2 interior re-wraps (steering wheel and armrest) have been done as we much prefer the feel of alcantara on these touch points. the steering wheel remains easy to grip and doesn't get slippery in sweaty hands. While the M2 competition has been in our possession it's always been maintained to the highest standard sharing stable space with a Porsche GT4 and McLaren 765LT, always washed by hand by our professional detailers and never left dirty. -Sunset Orange metallic paint-Black leather interior with Contrast sunset orange stitching -Manual Transmission -Executive package -Cold weather package -LED headlights -H&K sound -Wireless apple carplay -Both keys and original documentation included Extras- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mishimoto PERFORMANCE AIR-TO-WATER INTERCOOLER POWER PACK, New larger Intercooler, Heat exchanger & Metal charge pipes, This lowers strain on the cooling system therefore reducing wear and tear on the engine overtime-Swift Spec R lowering springs -Autoshift solutions 16% shorter throw shifter assembly with upgraded bushings (no sloppiness more Porsche GT3 like) -Clutch delay valve delete (allows the driver full control over clutch engagement) -Steering wheel re-wrapped in factory correct Alcantara with contrast sunset orange stitching and 12 o'clock stripe (steering wheel heating still functional -Armrest re-wrapped in factory correct Alcantara with contrast sunset orange stitching-Front fenders and hood covered in STEK DynoShield PPF-New Michelin Pilot super sports all around (less than 300 miles on them) -Factory BMW warranty until 2024 -STEK Dyno Shield Paint Protection film on Fenders & Hood & Headlights -Remaining paintwork polished out and coated in Gyeon Duraflex If you would like a video walkaround or test drive with approved funds let me know.
