Vehicle description
2007 Aston Martin Vantage, Tungsten Silver exterior with Kestrel Tan interior. I"m permanently relocating to San Francisco for work in 2 weeks and won"t be taking this car with me. It"ll be gifted to my youngest brother as a graduation gift if not sold on eBay. I prefer to sell local so the buyer can take a look and have a drive before deciding, but shipping is fine too.
The previous owner screwed me over by hiding and lying behind a screen, so below you"ll find a complete review of this car both aesthetically and mechanically. Hopefully this is the most transparent car listing to ever grace eBay.
Pros: Clean Title bar none. For some oddity won"t recognize my VIN, so here it is so you can confirm yourself: SCFBB03B07GC03783. Car was dealer serviced (oil change, etc.), inspected, and had $4,600 worth of OEM Parts replaced by Aston Martin of Park Place last September. The parts include brand new O2 Sensors, Front Spoiler, Fan Controller/Module, Fead Belt and Pulley (notorious for squeaking on Vantages), and Pressure Plate. The car was barely driven since as I"ve been in New York for work (approx. 1k miles). The car was lowered a lot to give it a more aggressive stance, and to do that, aftermarket Air Filters were installed. Aftermarket exhaust of unknown origin was fitted to this car to make it louder and throatier. Brakes and tires are pretty new (only 2k miles on them since last replacement), so expect full operation with plenty of tread. That"s pretty much it.
Cons (Aesthetically): Again, I hated how I was treated when buying this car so no b/s here. I"ve taken great care of the car but unfortunately the previous owner did not. Cosmetically, the car is definitely NOT in showroom condition and is used. Interior: leather on the seats/shifter show minimal but definite wear; this is probably the least of your problems. Exterior: The driver side rocker panel / side skirt has significant damage (crack and a puncture hole about the size of a tennis ball) and needs to be replaced entirely as I highly doubt you"d want to show that off. As the seller, I"d be willing to split the cost of this specific repair with the buyer at an agreed upon repair shop. There are small rock chips on the front bumper and some minor paint damage on the driver side door underneath the handle. The car does have a PPE coat on it, but you"re probably better off repainting that front bumper. Main concern here is that driver side rocker panel.
Cons (mechanically): Since I had the car serviced and repaired at the dealership, there isn"t too much to say here. The left headlight signal malfunctions from time to time; this is probably something you should replace in the future. Although the pressure plate was replaced, the driven plate, cover plate, flywheel and release bearings will need to be replaced within the next 15k miles or so according to the Aston mechanic. Don"t believe a listing that says "clutch works great". . if it isn"t brand new, it probably needs to be replaced soonish. Aside from the aforementioned, the mechanics are pretty spot on and perhaps even a bit better handling because of that lowered suspension.
I tried to make the photos as HD as possible (Nikon DSLR) so you can see what"s up in actuality. Interested buyers can contact me for additional photos, but I"ve laid it out best I can as far as nitty gritty details go.
