Vehicle description
Lexus LX 470
A unicorn! I bought this beautiful rig exactly 2 years ago with 72,000 miles. I immediately put a new timing belt, water pump all new fluids including the the adjustable suspension.
I have all of the original maintenance records as well as my own. Adult driven. Never taken off road or abused.
2004 is the best year for the FJ 100. 5 spd automatic. Airbags all around Mark Levinson Stereo. Has nicer interior than a Land Cruiser. The leather is better and the interior build is better. These are still the best SUV for the money.
This was the last year land cruisers were made at the ARACO Plant where every previous land cruiser was made. Each part was made to last 25 years. These vehicles specifically have the highest percentage of vehicles with over 300k miles still on the road. Buy with confidence. Needs nothing. Has a great set of New Michelin Defenders. Every fluid has been changed. Including adjustable suspension.
I am the 2nd owner. It is showing 3 owners, the original owner traded it in and I"m assuming that it is counting that as one of the owners. I also own a 2004 Land Cruiser with 202k miles. This Lexus is the cleanest and rust free example I’ve ever seen. I don’t need two in my life anymore and this one is too nice to keep.
On Jan-18-20 at 10:48:50 PST, seller added the following information: The Color is Pearl, it does look a little tan in the photos. The leather is all in good shape. The dash is perfect and everything works properly.
Thank you to everyone that has sent in questions. I have a lot more pictures of the underneath. I have driving videos and videos of all the power equipment working including the adjustable height. I had the oil changed 1/16/20. The new owner will get the vehicle with less than 50 miles on the oil change and a full tank of fuel.
If you would like to see any more pictures or videos please send me your email address. On Jan-18-20 at 10:59:49 PST, seller added the following information: I"ve owned several FJ100 over the years and found 2004 to be the best. First as I mentioned the ARACO Plant was the pinnacle of Toyota production plants. At this plant and for Lexus in general there would be as many as two times as many engineers going over each vehicle than at another luxury brand. They lost some this quality control in 2005 after leaving ARACO. Those land cruisers are still good but they have more rattles and don"t seem as well built. Also, the 5 speed transmission is better than the 4 speed that was used up until 2002. You get marginally better fuel economy and it last longer. Lastly the addition of air bags all the way to the rear makes 2004 the best year for all purposes.
