NO RESERVE! For sale by private party. 1978 Ford F-250. Rare Ranger Lariat Camper Special. Original paint low mile survivor. 138k original miles, two owners. The truck retains its original Big block 460 paired w/ an automatic transmission. Top of the line Lariat model w/ power steering, power front disc brakes, dual tanks, rear sliding window, & cruise control. The original paint is in excellent condition for its age, the interior is very nice. The truck runs & drives beautifully. Over $4500 dollars worth of repairs were recently done (all of the receipts are included). Pride of ownership shows throughout the truck.
MOTOR/TRANSMISSION- The original big block 460 runs excellent. The transmission was recently inspected, completely resealed, & serviced ($600). The truck has always been meticulously cared for & maintained. Recent complete full tune up including all belts & hoses. New starter & heavy duty battery.
INTERIOR- The interior of this truck is in great condition & mostly original. The seat upholstery & head liner are in excellent condition, the dashboard has no cracks. New door panels, arm rests, carpet, turn signal switch, & instrument cluster circuit board. Every thing works. The truck retains its original door data plate as well as the door jamb vin sticker. Very clean interior, non smoker, no smells.
PAINT/BODY- The beautiful paint on this truck is all original. The truck has been garage kept for most of its life. Stunning color combination. The body is arrow strait & free of rust (no bubbles, blisters, ect.). The truck has no rust/cancer. The bed has very minor superficial surface rust. The underside is rust free. The undercarriage is very clean & tidy.
SUSPENSION- New power steering pump & lines, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings, tie rod ends, alignment, front & rear shocks. Rebuilt power steering box. The truck drives great & tracks straight/true.
With a heavy heart I have decided to part ways with my beloved Ford F-250 as I have two other classic Ford trucks & can"t keep them all. This truck is the epitome of a well loved & cared for survivor. The truck runs, drives, and looks great. No stories, no disappointments. Clean title.
