Vehicle description

Vehicle Details Original small block car with replacement small block engine - a Chevrolet 350 crate engine, one of the ZZ engines but I am not entirely certain. Nice car to drive on the weekends, but needs paint and some body work in the front, passenger-side clip. Good chrome, newer tires and brakes, many new interior trim parts including interior dash, carpet, and console. This is the classic "10 foot car" - looks great from a distance but has blemishes as you get closer. Car has both a nice soft top with clear window and an exceptionally nice, black hardtop with a blue headliner. (I bought the hardtop a few years ago; it has a blue headliner that can be dyed or painted black. I am including the hardtop holder with the car.) Gauges work, including the new clock. New heater core and heater blower - the car gets toasty on those cool autumn days. New emergency brake mechanics; newer battery; new leaf spring and many new front and rear suspension parts, including all new rubber in front and back. The car comes with the original small block hood; 2 years ago I purchased a large-block hood from a 1970 Corvette (with the 454 emblem on the hood). The hood is black and fades to deep purple and is the hood that is installed on the car. (I had intended to repaint the whole car, but I'm getting out the old car business.) I also have an L-88 aftermarket, fiberglass, unpainted hood that will come with the car. (So you get 3 hoods.) Windshield wipers and windshield door all work and have all new relays and vacuum parts. (The car's wipers did not work when I bought the car, and the wiper door was missing.) The car also has a new steering box (from Duntov Motor Company) and a rebuilt steering column. (The original steering column will come with the car - see photos.) I also installed a new, interior wiring harness while replacing the dash, so the interior electrical is all new. I've put a lot of time and work into the car, and have owned it close to 7 years. During that time it largely sat in my garage with little to no driving during most of those years - just select weekend days during the spring, summer and fall. This is a great "entry car" for someone who wants to get into the hobby, or a fabulous candidate for a resto-mod project. Just to reiterate - you're not bidding on a numbers-matching car, and the car does NOT have a large-block engine (AND WAS NOT AN ORIGNIAL BIG BLOCK CAR), although the car has a large-block hood that reads "454." The glass - windshield and driver and passenger doors - is in good shape. The car needs paint, but is fun to drive. Images Download the Motors app
