You have found a clean Lincoln Town Car. This Signature series model is an Arizona kept car and has absolutely no corrosion, it is also nicely equipped and has just 59k original miles. These Town Cars are very popular as they represent the final years of "body on frame" design, a lot of people feel safer in a car with a frame and these are basically the only sedans left that are built this way aside from its siblings, the Grand Marquis and the Crown Victoria. This particular car is finished in it"s original Black color with an uncommon interior color of "Light Parchment" (light cream color) leather. Most of these cars that are Black in color will have black, tan or gray interiors, this is the only one I have had in all of my years in the automobile industry in this color combination. The car is all stock with no modifications, it is mostly original and has a clean Autocheck with no accidents. The car is not new, therefore it is not perfect, it is clean and shows some normal wear and tear for a car of its vintage. Please take the time to review the 80+ photos below including several of the undercarriage that show the car has no corrosion and has never been damaged.
The body of the car is nice and straight, the front and rear bumper covers have been refinished but the body is all original with no accidents or repair. There are no major dings or dents, there was some light scratching here and there and I had those blemishes touched up so it looks quite nice. There is light "checking" in the finish on the trunklid and roof panels, not noticeable from a couple of feet away, paint is shiny and glossy with no fading. Glass is nice, crystal clear all the way around, all trim is in nice condition. There is one "half-dime" sized chip in the chrome bumper strip on the front left side but other than that it is all quite nice. Lights and lenses are all intact, headlamps show minimal aging and the right headlamp will briefly fog up when the car is washed. Tires are top quality Michelins all the way around and they all have 80% tread life remaining, factory allow wheels are clean and have all center caps.
The interior is clean and the car belonged to a non-smoker so there are no burns or tobacco odors inside. Carpets are clean and do not have any staining or excessive wear. All factory floor mats are included with the car. The leather seats showed quite a bit of aging so they have been cleaned and re-dyed, they look very nice and while they will never be as perfect as new, they look 100% better than the way the leather gets in all of these cars do after 18+ years. Dash and steering wheel are also very nice and aside from the driver"s door power window bank being glued in as it was loose (see photo), the door panels are all in nice condition including all wood trim, switches and storage compartments. Everything works as it should on the car aside from the power driver"s seat which works in all directions aside from back and forth, the car does have power pedals so if you are average height you will find the seat comfortable, budget about $150 if you need to remedy that. Headliner and visors are in great shape, power windows, locks, keyless entry, audio, Home Link, gauges and all lighting is in good working order.
Mechanically the car feels good with the lower miles. If you have ever driven one of these you know how they "float" down the freeway, rear air shocks are good, fronts feel good to me but they do exhibit some aging, no noises or anything though. The car starts up promptly and has no abnormal noises, it does not overheat and has not exhibited any leaks. Transmission shifts through all the gears and the car is a pleasure to drive. Brakes feel good, power steering is responsive (no power steering noise) and their are no "service" or "warning" lights on in the dash.
Do not miss this car, there are not many left with this mileage, with this history and are completely corrosion free.
