Vehicle description

BMW 3-Series. 325is. e30. As is project for parts or rebuild. This is a project e30. I purchased it locally sight unseen because it is my favorite year e30 and it had under 100k miles. I wasn"t aware it needed a motor (rod nock on cylinder 5) and it has some body damage even though it does hold clean title. The project became bigger than I wanted to tackle. The only thing I have done was clean it to see what I was working with and I was planning on doing a 5speed swap but I only got as far as changing the pedal box so there is actually a clutch pedal in the car but nothing is hooked up to it. Millage seems accurate. There are a few years where the millage didn"t go up but the car has sat for a long time so I don"t think it has moved while the odometer was broken. I bought this car on the notion it is a sub 100k 325isThe body has a respray on it, seems ok but nothing great. There is some sloppy body work on the rear passenger fender. The front seems a bit off with how the passenger front fender lines up but the upper radiator support seems ok. Motor has very low compression on cyl 5 and has rod nock. The car does not run. Some things were pulled to ready the motor to pull out but the project stopped so most of the stuff was put back together. Obviously I have no clue how the trans is and other components but it was at least driving when the motor went out so most stuff should have been working. I tried cranking it and it got spark and fuel and would rumble for a little bit but the fuel is pretty bad and didn"t hold idle. Interior has clean carpet and decent sport seats. Everything is there and original just a bit dirty. The headliner is pretty torn, mainly on the sunroof panel. The dash rivals the grand canyon in a few spots. The rear view mirror is held on with a bungee cord. This is a large project for the right person. I"m happy to answer any question but at the same time its a mess of a car so if you"re wondering if the windows go up and down or if the tail lights work I really never got to testing the smaller things. This is a true as is project. I love this cars potential in the right hands.
