Available now, this beautiful G50 Carrera Targa finished with the very elegant Guards Red metallic over Cashmere beige. Produced for the last 911 Carrera 3.2 Model Year, this 1989 Targa is the ultimate G-series car to have. Comes factory equipped with the must-have manual 5-speed G50 transmission that was also used for the 964 models until 1995. The overall condition of this car is excellent and shows very well all around. Starting for the condition of the original Targa top’s vinyl exterior, to the Cashmere leather interior, showing almost no wear, to the Guards Red gloss paint all around the exterior which enjoys a mid-life full paint job in original color and quality. Paint meter readings (available on request) show consistent all around. There is a small scratch on the paint on the left rear quarter panel. A rare 3.0 Turbo rear spoiler complements the Euro look achieved by the 30mm lowered suspension. According to the spotless Carfax, it appears to be a one owner car. The original engine and engine bay are in outstanding condition, and power delivery from its Bosch electronically controlled flat six 3.2 is very good and the G50 transmission delivers the power to the ground through all 5 gears without grinding or issues. The shifter movement feels tight and with no unusual play. The Air Conditioner and heater work as intended from factory, making this car an all-season contender. Care and attention provided by its previous caregiver are also noticeable by the overall unmolested condition and the Pirelli wrapped 16-inch Fuchs Turbo wheels. This Targa enjoys of a brand-new braking system worth $2600 just installed, including pads, rotors, and calipers.
