Vehicle description
Winter is here. Get into it with this 1998 Range Rover 4.0 SE
This winter-destroyer Rover has 146,000 miles, has a clean title, runs and drives excellently, and has a straight body. It also happens to be in the best color combination, but I suppose that is a matter of opinion.
All the power windows work including the sunroof, all lights work inside and out. It has an all time 4wd drive system. The paint is in excellent condition, the wheels look great, and the leather is a beautiful buttery brown with minor wear. The heater blows hot and the AC blows cold.
I have taken care of this P38 quite well and have made the following upgrades and repairs:
- New spark plugs and wires - New Exhaust that sounds amazing - Brand new BF Goodrich AT KO2"s - New Headliner - Air bag suspension removed and replaced with a high quality suspension and a 2" lift - New water pump - Thermostat - Cylinder Head Gasket - ARP Head Stud
Although I have done my best to care for this chariot of the gods, there are a few things that I have not yet gotten to or was not bothered enough to care to address:
- Electric seats do not work - Heater & AC work bit display does not - Headlight is cracked but does work - Stereo does not work - Key case broke and was removed - Central locking system causes minor battery draw. - Leather boot around hand brake is worn but can be ordered. -
This P38 is such a beauty and a pleasure to drive. It is part of the P38 50th anniversary series.
