This is the story of a high maintenance wife, the husband who loves her, and the car she obsessed over for years. Years ago when we lived in Scotland, I fell in love with an LR3 we saw that was just like this: all white, black interior, 7 seats, rivet like tough-guy wheels. Man, did that car make an impression. When we emigrated to the USA, my wonderful husband set about finding me one exactly like it.
It was a hard to find, but there could be no compromise. White was THE color. Only a black interior would do. He set up Google alerts, searched regularly on every selling platform: you know how it goes. Finally, he found it. He had to travel a few states away to get it, but he scored an excellent purchase, the LR3 I’d always wanted, and I was a happy wife indeed! There’s a reason why this was a rare find. As a 2008 LR3, the exterior is all white like an LR4 (instead of LR3 contrasting black wheel arches, which I feel compromises the aesthetics of the body). But the interior, happily, is all LR3, with proper sport-utility styling and chunky toughness. In my view it is superior to the more generic LR4 interior. I think the ’08 model year demonstrates the apex of LR style. The best looking Land Rover ever made. Everything is original plus a few extras. It is loaded. We’ve have no warning lights. A year ago we had a repair to the air suspension (new up-rated compressor fitted), and nothing has caused us the slightest bother since. It has a factory center console cooler, seven seats, all the HSE perks. See below for the details. We have tried to photograph any flaws and imperfections, which are in keeping with it being a 2008 vehicle. It drives very well indeed, quiet with plenty of power. I"ve been asked why I am selling my beloved LR3. My oldest son is disabled and I need to lift him into the car every time. He"s getting heavier and the LR3 isn"t getting any lower. Even with the suspension lowered it"s still difficult to lift him into the seat. So I have (reluctantly) bought a minivan and it is currently being fitted with a lift. So my LR3 is for sale.

7Seats VIN: SALAG25498A449523 Clean NC Title (No Liens) Clean CarFax / Auto Check. My report says that a duplicate title was issued when the car was almost new. I guess the original owner lost his title. There is an "inspection" noted when the Python alarm system was fitted and strangely there is a "Lien" noted, but there is and never was any Lien on the car (the clean Title confirms this - no lien).
