Nice original paint and interior, this gently used truck is an unusual example of the Land Rover Discovery Series 2, the last of the long line of Land Rovers to use the robust V8 motor evolved from the Buick 315. Maintenance is fully up to date.
Tyres are essentially new, matched set of four Cooper Discoverer mud & snow, 10/32" tread, dated 2016.
The motor is freshly inspected and re-sealed professionally by a long-standing, respected quality Land Rover specialist shop. This includes new head gaskets, valve stem seals, timing cover and oil pan gaskets and seals. The cylinder heads were overhauled, but were not re-surfaced, since this work was not done as the result of overheating damage. The cost of this service was in excess of five thousand dollars. There is a little wear on the front seat cushion leather, park brake boot, and the head-lining. One key-button has rubber that has cracked through, but remote works fine. Has optional cup-holders. The cooling system is in good order with newer radiator and newer hoses, and a fresh Genuine Land Rover thermostat. Arizona based, the truck is absolutely rust free. Never crashed. Mileage is low. Not DIY maintained or repaired. Includes original handbooks in original Land Rover pouch.
