2000 Land Rover Discovery 2 Sport. Condition is "Used".
I am selling for a friend and will try to specify everything i know about the vehicle.
Currently it has been sitting in my parking space for about 12 months. She wanted me to have it but i have no use for it and never registered it. I have periodically checked the fluids and started it up every few months to warm it up and drive it around the lot. I will be installing a new battery for the buyer as this one will no longer hold a charge as the alarm system drains the battery and it is not used.
The rear airbag suspension was replaced 3 months ago because they would randomly lose air as it sat and would refill upon start, i havent started it since because i didnt get the new battery yet.
The vehicle runs and drives very well in my opinion but i have never driven another to compare too.
the rear step to get into the third row broke however a brand new one was purchased and included in the sale.
The original dvd player in the glove box for the headrests stopped working and a replacement was purchased and included but has not been installed. The roof mounted tv i believe needs to be wired to power. it worked untill the new headliner was installed and now doesnt turn on. i imagine something is unplugged.
the front brush bar is rusted and could be repaired, replaced, or removed without any effect on performance.
The car has been sitting and unwashed for a year. i dont want to risk driving to the car wash with an uninsured vehicle but it does shine well once washed. i dont see any visible damage if not mentioned.
The car runs and drives strong. any questions please ask . There is a low reserve on this auction to cover the costs of the airbag suspension and headliner replacement.
