2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ Unlimited:
Thank You for viewing this Soon to be completed restored 2006 Wrangler LJ. This Jeep has already received a full color change paint Job by DAS to Quicksand Toyota for a totally custom look. As of 5-2-2021 the Jeep is still at the point where we can build it per your specs and request. Our Plan is outlined below and subject to change. This Jeep came to us all original and bone stock with 121k miles. Since the miles are great and the engine runs perfect, we have decided to leave the factory 4.0 engine in the Jeep, however you want a new engine or an upgraded diesel or LS engine, please let us know. We will update our site and Ebay as progress is made on the build. Once again the outline below is not set in stone.

WEEKS 1-4: We spent the first 4 weeks prepping this LJ for its complete color change paint Job. We decided to finish the LJ in the Toyota QuickSand. With all DAS paint job, we disassemble the entire Jeep, all panes, glass, moldings, handles, etc. This process ensures a factory like finish with no tape lines, hard edges, etc. The photos below and masking are there for body work, primer, and sealer. As you see, 100% of the Jeep will be painted, front and rear sides of all panels.
WEEKS 4 - 7 After all the body and prep work was completed the all panels and body received a full primer which was then blocked and sanded down for a perfectly flat finish, followed by a 2nd coat of primer and another blocking. After the primer process is completed, we then spray a sealer coat for added protection and longevity before the base color is applied. As seen below, every square inch of body and metal is sprayed.
WEEKS 8 - 9 Now that the entire body is ready for base and clear, we applied 2 coats of Axalta Base Color and 2 Coats of Axalta Clear. Once the panels are cured, we then Wet-Sand, High Speed Compound, Buff, and Polish for a true show finish. All Panels are then installed and the Jeep will now move over to the Techs for engine, driveline, suspension, brakes and more.
Terms of Sales Payment Terms:
The successful buyer will submit a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via paypal or credit card. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance within 7 days of auction close. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Acceptable Payment Methods:
Cash (In Person), certified check, cashiers check, bank wire transfer, or third party approved financing via check or wire. All checks are made payable to Davis AutoSports. We DO NOT take credit cards for balance
Fees and Taxes:
Davis AutoSports charges a $249.00 processing fee. All buyers are responsible for state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title or registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. Buyers are responsible for tax, title & tag fees in the state the vehicle will be registered.
