It"s a CJ7 Laredo that lived in sunny rust free California. Now 34 years later it"s a high end, high optioned, professionally built and extreme off road capable Jeep. ( True 4 Wheel Drive Big Boy Toy ) This CJ will 4 Wheel off road with the best of best. This is the CJ that drives around all others off road when they can"t go any further. This is the CJ Jeep owners dream of owning or building some day. (Build highlights) CJ is powered by a "new 4.2 Jeep crate motor fitted with Howell tbi fuel injection. 900 driven miles on motor today. Howell TBI fuel injection was added to enhance overall power & performance. Fuel injection won"t flood in extreme angle like a carburetor will. A must have for off road driving or extreme climbing. Fuel injection will also self adjust for altitudes unlike a carburetor . Motor also upgraded with performance header, muffler and larger tube exhaust system, also sounds great. Upgraded to HEI high output electronic distributor. New radiator with "aluminum core" for superior cooling. Motor backed with Jeep 5 speed manual transmission and new HD clutch. Dana 300 4 by 4 transfer case fitted with upgraded twin stick for better gear selection SEE VIDEO how it works. Jeep was custom fitted with a Dana 44 scout (wide track style) heavy duty front end with locker. FOX adjustable "long travel" shocks for increased off road articulation and softer ride quality. Motor bay fitted with detachable support bar also used for upper mounting points for the long travel front shocks. Rear end also upgraded to highly sought after FMC 8.8 rear end, 31 spline one piece axles and Posi Traction Locker. Rear end now fitted with power disk brakes. The wide track style front and rear end give Jeep a wider tire stance for better drive ability and stability both on and off pavement. WARN gold series locking hubs. The suspension under Jeep was upgraded to 4 inch spring suspension lift. A M.O.R.E Spring reversal shackle conversion SRS also installed on front end that allows front suspension to travel in a much more natural travel direction when springs loaded or compressed. One inch body lift for added clearance between body and running gear. Flat fenders with wheel well inserts for added tire clearance. Front end steering parts also upgraded to "high steer " for added ground clearance. Large heavy duty 1 1/2 inch steering tie rod with Heim joints also installed up front. SEE VIDEO. Steering column shaft upgraded to HD with swivel joints. Factory power steering, tilt steering column, grab handles make it easy to get in and out and easy to drive. All brakes now 4 wheel power disk brakes. Jeep fitted with side body "rock slider" secured to frame = f unctional not cosmetic. Skid plate under transmission and transfer case. Rock guard front diff cover. Full family roll cage for added safety front and rear. Front bucket seats upgraded to Corbeau bucket with lap belts and over shoulder belts giving you (4 point off road safety harness with quick disconnects).
