1985 Jeep CJ 7. This Jeep hasnot been restored. Never needed to. Iliterally bought it from a little old lady that worked with my wife. Years ago, when I would stop by the hospital to visit my wife while shewas working, I would always see this Jeep in the parking garage. Everytime I stopped by to visit, I would remind the lady to let my wife know if sheever wanted to sell it. Well, the day came about 25 years ago that shedid. This jeep has been garaged at home and work by previous owner andhas been a garaged ever since. Immediately after purchase I had a local4x4 shop put in a crate chevy 350 with an RV cam, headman headers, aluminumintake and Holley 4 barrel. I never changed a thing after that for 20years. Finally, I had a friend that was a retired mechanic take it tomake a few upgrades for me. So here is how the jeep sits today. Ihad it repainted to the color you see now. Every square inch except underthe hood. It was originally brown. There is no rust anywhere on theJeep. I had a 2.5" lift put on to accommodate 18" wheels andnew Nitto Grapplers. They are the only set of tires ever put on the Jeep. There are 89,000 miles one the body and about 20K on the motor. Ihad a stereo system professionally installed. Rhino lined the inside the tub. I have aBest top and the original hard doors which ended up not getting painted and arestored. I haven"t put them on in 20 years. In the pictures you willsee the seats look brown with the covers on. There are also pictures withthe covers removed. There isn’t a singlehole or tare in the seats. I have had covers them on since day one.
