All dressed up in Ivy moondust green with a dark green vinyl top and interior this is one sharp Mark IV. Now those that remember the 1970"s remember that the cost of 9/10th of a gallon of gas averaged .36. At 36 cents a gallon people drove cars, cars that took up some real estate. In this climate the Mark IV was considered a midsized car but one with style and class. Now in 1972 this car was purchased by the current owners" parents, so it has been in the same family for all these years since. The current owner has spent countless hours in search of any part that needed to be replaced on the car, insisting that only new old stock parts be used to keep it as original as possible only giving in with the carburetor where he acquiesced and went with the much improved Edelbrock (R) 1406 with 600 CFM. This New carburetor feed the massive 460 Cubic inch V8 that is used to move this beauty. Backing the 460 is a C3 three speed automatic transmission that helps this big girl float down the highway at cruising speeds. Inside the cabin there is a galley kitchen and master suite, ok just joking. Let"s just say that there is room for 6 adults. This is a comfortable car to take a family trip in. And should one of the children act up on the way, just send them to their room.
