Vehicle description
For sale is a 1999 Isuzu Vehicross, 3.5L V6, automatic transmission. Color is Astral Silver. 71,550 miles. Accident free. Title is clean and in my name.
This is a very rare and uncommon vehicle as Isuzu manufactured only 6000 worldwide. The condition is excellent for its age, both cosmetically and mechanically. I acquired this vehicle in early 2020. The previous owner held it for 15 years and kept it stock, unmodified, and in excellent running condition. Since acquiring it, I have kept it garaged and have only driven with it on dry, paved roads. While in my possession, the following alterations were made:
- Replaced the leather console cover. - Replaced the glove box cover. - Replaced a broken knob holding the interior spare tire cover in place. - Replaced the radio unit. - Replaced rear shocks, which were the original OEM shocks and were overdue for replacement. The OEM shocks will be included with the vehicle in the event the future owner wishes to have them restored and re-installed.
Mechanically, the condition is excellent. The vehicle starts, idles, and runs with ease. AC works perfectly, running cold or hot without issue. Tires have sufficient tread and traction. Brakes operate as expected. Steering is good: no wobbling, no drifting and no excessive play in steering wheel. No unusual or annoying engine noises. No drips, smoke, overheating, burning oil, or stalls. Basic functionality such as lights, blinkers, door locks, automatic windows, and windshield wipers are all in working condition. The underbody is clean, showing only minimal superficial surface rusting. The vehicle has some faults, as to be be expected a 20 year old car, which I will disclose in full:
- Radio works, but will not play cassettes. These radios do not require an activation code and can be easily replaced. - CD player is non-responsive. These stock Isuzu CD units were notoriously short-lived and often replaced by owners with after-market units. The vehicle currently gets its music via a USB Player plugged into the lighter socket. - Front right speaker struggles with certain bass frequencies. - Some noise in suspension during sharp turns. Nothing that affects driving performance, but ideally something that is examined in the future. Front shocks are overdue for replacement. - Some exterior cosmetic defects. Front left fender and rear left fender have scratches, as seen in photos. Visible only under certain light conditions. Some light rockchips visible on hood on close inspection. Please examine attached photos for a better assessment of the overall cosmetic condition.
Owner"s manual is included with vehicle. Antenna is included but untested.
