Named after angels of the highest rank, the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph debuted at the March 1998 Geneva Motor Show as the company"s ultra-luxury model for the 21st century. Just 1,570 examples were produced at the Crewe Rolls-Royce factory through 2002. Prior to joining the Las Vegas-area museum collection of renowned entertainer Wayne Newton in 2015, this 1999 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph was part of the noted Jim Rogers Classic Car Museum collection. The Silver Seraph is powered by an all-alloy V12 engine supplied by BMW, a landmark as the first engine selected by Rolls-Royce from an external supplier. Displacing 5.4 liters, the BMW V12 delivers 322hp through a computer-controlled ZF 4-speed automatic transmission. Advanced engineering matches the external grace and beauty of the Silver Seraph, including adaptive ride control and anti-lock brakes for a serene and secure experience with even lower road noise than its famously quiet predecessors. Befitting its elite stature, the Silver Seraph featured interiors trimmed with the quality materials and opulence consistent with Rolls-Royce tradition, including the finest Connolly leather upholstery, beautifully accented by rich, glossy walnut veneer appointments to the door-garnish moldings and useful fold-down picnic tables. Visually striking in Navy over Cream leather upholstery with Navy piping, this Silver Seraph includes the four trunk-mounted umbrellas originally supplied by the factory, plus original books and manuals inside their factory document folio. A wonderful example of one of the most highly respected modern Rolls-Royce models and benefiting from limited use and collector care, this rare 1999 Silver Seraph is a wonderful touchstone to the last few years of Rolls-Royce production at the company"s historic Crewe works. On Jul-07-21 at 15:52:20 PDT, seller added the following information: The actual color name for this car is "PEACOCK BLUE" we have had many inquiries as to the color so we wanted to be clear.
