Vehicle description

This custom show car has the best of the best of everything including a 406 small block with angled plug heads and 4-speed manual. It has all new front and rear suspension with power rack and pinion and hydro-boost power brakes. Nice aluminum radiator with dual fans, Renu gas tank and stainless exhaust. And, she has braided line throughout, MSD ignition system and high voltage starter. The high end professional show paint job shows perfectly with no cracks whatsoever and the gaps are also perfect with doors that shut better than new. The bright work is flawless with beautiful chrome and, as you can see, the undercarriage is gorgeous. There is a TON of documentation that goes with the car, including the original build sheet, a detailed list of the 46K spent on parts and labor (the motor was 8K) and the service and assembly manuals. Also included are your choice of original hubcaps or center caps with trim rings. The original 350 motor does go with the car (see picture), but I would never change her back after going for a test ride. This build was finished after the owner became very ill and was unable to drive it. The only time she"s been out was a buddy who drove him before he died. He always built the best of the best, including an award wining 60 Harley Panhead show bike that is also up for sale. I am ONLY accepting SERIOUS inquiries and can take you for a test ride or I can send you a video of the car running with a walk around the car (you can really hear that cam from the rear!). It"s the perfect time to sell, as Autorama just ended and St. Patrick"s Day is coming soon! Thanks! Tom.
Please check my perfect profile and bid with confidence. And please ask any and all questions before bidding, as this is a NO RESERVE auction and your bid is a legally binding agreement to purchase the Marquis. Also, please do not bid and then offer excuses such as my wife doesn"t like the color, I don"t have the money right now or-and this actually happened to me once-my kid bid on the car and he"s only 12 years old! I even had a high bidder tell me he had surgery, took a bunch of pain killers and bid on 20 cars when he was high and didn"t remember doing so. . that was my favorite excuse and I actually believed him!
I do not charge ANY hidden fees such as processing, documentation, transfers, or just because we can on the total auction end price. However, you will be responsible for shipping, but I"ll help coordinate with you to help with the shipper.
The high bidder must submit a non-refundable $500 Paypal (you may use [email protected]) deposit within 24 hours of the auction end and full payment within 7 days. I accept CLEARED wire transfers, CLEARED certified check and cash is still KING!
If you are buying from the Great Lake State of Michigan, I will act as your Secretary of State. So, I will be collecting taxes, title transfer and plate/registration fees up front for your purchase. For out of state buyers, I will provide you with the signed title and the car so that you may transfer into your own state.
I do reserve the right to end the auction early with an agreed price that is paid in full.
