1997.5 H1 Wagon - 6.5 Turbo Diesel
I have owned this beautiful machine for about 5 years now, and spent the balance of that time building my ultimate dream Hummer. It"s enjoyed a no-expense-spared life, and has been well taken care of (not beaten on) and always parked indoors, and has a clean CarFax. This is an "everything works" vehicle: remote locks, power mirrors, power windows, cruise control, and yes the air conditioning blows cold.
The Hummer has a reputation for being slow however I"ve found it more than peppy enough about town, and cruising up to the speed limit on most highways isn"t a problem with the 6.5L turbo - with the exception of some steep inclines of course, this wasn"t designed to be a highway speed demon.
I would love to keep it but at this point in my life circumstances (and the wife) dictate it"s time to move on, for now anyway.

Wheels, Tires and Suspension
- 38 x 15.5 x 18 TOYO MT tires. (still plenty of life left) - Rod Hall Racing Lift / Leveling springs
- Custom CEPEK Wheels (the ONLY aftermarket wheel with proper offset and weight rating for
the H1)
- CEPEK braided stainless CTIS quick-connect lines - CTIS (central tire inflation system) works great. Allows you to deflate or inflate the tires on the
go from inside the truck, you can even select front/rear/both. Does NOT leak. - New OEM shocks
Exterior
- Ballistic windshield (bullet-proof) - Full bodywork and respray to factory color (metallic forest green), with center of hood, roof and rock rails
sprayed satin black.
- Factory green paint wrapped in Avery matte military green (new paint was wrapped before it was ever driven) - New LED marker lights, clearance lights, headlights, tailights, and turn signals
- H1 Aplha Brushguard - Power mirrors (Alpha H1 mirror upgrade w built in LED turn
signals) - Remote power locks (2 fobs) - Factory twin fuel tanks, switchable from cabin
Interior
- Custom interior: the two front seats were replaced with new ones and the whole vehicle was
reupholstered in a two tone back and tan, diamond quilted pattern. New headliner, all carpets
replaced, door panels, seat covers, etc. - power windows
Sound and Entertainment
- Pioneer head unit, 7" Touchscreen with Android Auto / Apple Carplay
- Upgraded Polk speakers in factory locations, - Compact in dash amplifier driving two square 8" solo-baric L7 Kicker subwoofers custom mounted
into the factory subwoofer boxes under the rear seats (under both rear seats)
Engine
- Diagnosed and solved every issue, replacing many parts, from oil coolers to AC components. - K&N air filter - Boost gauge to monitor pressure - Upgraded remote PMD - regular changing of belts, oil and all fluids
