Vehicle Details I have owned this Hudson for about 4 years. I brought the car and had it shipped to our winter place in Florida to use around the rv park where we stayed for the winter. We have now sold our lot so I have decided to sell the car. it is now in Athens Alabama where we live.This is the condition of the car at this timeThe engine. The engine starts easy and idles fine it hesitates when you give it gas but it will smooth out at higher speeds. The carburetor is not the right carb for the car and this may cause the problem. The car is running using an electric fuel pump the vacuum pump is on the car but the out let to the carb is broken. The transmission and clutch our fine and the brakes work fine.The body. The body on this car is in great shape as shown in the pictures the fenders are good with no rust and the doors open and close fine. There our two places on the body that need attention one is above the trunk It looks like somebody but a skim of body putty on the sheet medal and it has worked lose. I see no signs that it has rusted through looking at the inside of the car. The other place is where somebody patched the space above the running boards using tin and a pop rivet gun.The interior has both seats and all the door trim no headliner but is ok to use as is in the box in the back seat our more door handles.The tires are usable with good tread and hold air but i would start thinking about new tires.I can store the car for up to 3 months under my carport after it is paid in full.
