Vehicle description
The Good: If you are looking for a prepped track car that can put down fast laps look no further. As you can see from the mod list below, the modifications are numerous and extensive. The car was built to be reliable and fast. The engine mods all focus around enhanced cooling and keeping from oil starvation. Whether you plan on leaving this car as is or adding forced induction, it is ready to go. Transmission and differential fluid were changed every 5 events, with oil and filter being changed every other event. Valve lash was inspected and set to factory specification at the beginning of each season. This car was only used on track, and garaged the rest of the time. Examples of lap times I have set are as such: Lime Rock Park 0:59.4, Palmer Motorsport Park 1:46, Watkins Glen 2:13. These times were posted on HankookRS3 tires. And there is still some room for improvement in lap times. Selling this car was never a plan of mine, but I no longer have the time to go to the track and it’s time to move on. No lien on car, branded title from prior owner but was never able to determine the damage involved.
The Bad: As the photos show, the right side of the car made contact with a wall at Watkins Glen. The replacement bumper, door, and fender are all OEM. Fortunately the damage was completely cosmetic and the car drove home fine even after making contact. The car will need an alignment as the passenger side toe angle was thrown off. My original intent was to have the car wrapped with the new panels, but I’ll leave that to the next owner so they can choose whatever path they prefer. I do still have both headlights but the passenger side headlight cover is scratched. May be possible to fix/replace but I haven’t looked into it.
