“NO RESERVE. This Chevy van was purchased to transport a wheel chair bound parent for about (2) years. We put approximately 5,000 miles in total on this van since we have owned. The van was purchased at an auction with a salvage title that was converted to a rebuilt title. We had the van inspected immediately after purchase and it was not apparent to us why the van had received a branded title. The wheel chair lift was not operable at time of purchase and was serviced as noted above. Maintenance updates were made as we could not have this van becoming disabled on the highway. The van was inspected at a local service facility every (3) months during its usage by us. The Chevy Conversion Van is being offered for sale locally and seller reserves the right to end the auction early.” |

Vehicle description
Vehicle Details NO RESERVE AUCTION; 2000 Chevrolet 1500 Express Conversion Van. This van is equipped with a Braun Corporation Electronic/Hydraulic Wheel Chair lift. Maintenance update since owning this van includes; 1. Full mechanical inspection right after purchase. 2. New tires approximately 2,000 miles ago. 3. New fuel pump. 4. Rebuilt transmission approximately 1,000 miles ago at a cost of $1,600.00. 5. Completely serviced Braun Lift right after purchase. Service included new electric motor. Service cost $2,300.00. 6. New battery shortly after purchase. 7. New brakes shorty after purchase. 8. Oil change approximately 1,000 miles ago. Over $5,500.00 invested in this vehicle in maintenance upgrades in the last two years. The overall condition of the seats and carpeting is okay. As noted under seller notes this vehicle’s primary use was transporting a handicap parent. The A/C needs to be recharged as it does not blow as cold as it use to when used regularly. The driver side door lock is missing so to unlock with the key the passenger side door lock must be used. We have never tried to use the installed television. The lift works as it should and it has both controls inside the van and a remote corded control. The engine is the 5.7l with an automatic transmission which as noted was recently rebuilt with 22,500 miles left on the warranty. The transmission was rebuilt due to some slippage being felt during one of our trips. Again the dependability of this van on the highway was of primary concern. The paint is coming off the body in places. The lift will easily lift the wheel chair and two adults. The lift stows automatically in the folded position to provide easier side door access when not using the lift. Overall this van is in very good condition mechanically.
