1960 Volkswagen Dune Buggy. Condition is "Used".
Up for sale is a very unique and well built VW Dune Buggy.
Definitely one of a kind
Lots of fine detail. Seems like I am always seeing a new detail on the Buggy and trailer.
I do not know the make of the body but the fiberglass is thick and solid, The hood and dash are molded as one piece. Has the wiring tubes molded under the fenders as a Manx body. The design of the dash and the rear end also looks like a Manx. Overall looks looks like a Manx but I do not know. I can not see any other markings showing what the body make is. There are no body damage or cracks.
Part of an estate. The original owner put a lot of time and thought in building this buggy making it very solid and dependable.
Street legal and has a 2021 Georgia Registration and current license plate.
All of the gauges work.
Has working wipers, parking lights, head lights, tail lights, brake lights, seat belts front and back. The trailer lights also work.
Starts on first turn, runs smooth and drives true and straight.
Custom built matching trailer with room for a cooler. As you can see in the photo there is a Coke bottle, bottle of beer and a jar of moon Shine. I would not take the chance of sampling any of it but makes a great display.
The buggy is in drive anywhere condition.
