Vehicle Details 2005 GMC Yukon XL Denali AWDI just purchased this car in December to tow my boat, but it had a known catalytic converter computer fault. This fault prevented the car from passing the strict NY State Emissions test. I was going to invest in finding a replacement cat, but the device is much more expensive than I thought and I decided to sell it instead of making the repair. This car has been meticulously maintained throughout it one owner life. It has had oil changes every 3000 miles, and it has had routine maintenance as well. The owner gave me all of the records (see photos). The car currently has new brakes, rotors, calipers all around, nearly new tires, and 20” black MB wheels, and a current oil change. The car has 192,000 miles. The car runs great, and drives great, and I hate to sell it but as I found out after I bought it, it has significant underside rust (rocker panels, some chassis, and some heavy frame rust. I wanted it for heavy towing (9000 lb tow package), but do not want to make chassis repairs to make this safe for a heavy boat. It looks like it will be fine for lighter loads but I can’t say for sure. The air bag light is on (likely a $60 sensor on e bay) but that does not cause a failure of the state inspection. The important gauges all work, but the tach and transmission oil temp don’t move. The car has a new spare tire but the cable system to lower and raise it under the car needs to be replaced ($60 at rock auto).
