1999 GMC Savana 1500 Starcraft Conversion Van High Roof - Low Miles - Excellent Original Condition
We are reluctantly selling our Awesome Low Mileage Rust free 1999 GMC ‘Adventure’ Conversion Van. High Roof, extended version, so plenty of room inside. This van has been very well taken care of and is in very good condition. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country tomorrow. I purchased this van in July 2018 from a couple from England that had purchased it in 2017 to tour the U.S. in. They were returning to England and so needed to sell the van.
I purchased for the same purpose to tour the U.S. and N. America. My wife and I used the van to tour the South during February and March of this year. The van performed flawlessly during our trip and was very comfortable. Unfortunately, my wife does not feel comfortable driving it, so we purchased a Honda Odyssey mini-van for our upcoming trip to the NE and Canada. We spent a long time trying to find the right van. This is the Starcraft conversion which is the best made conversion van. Starcraft were the official converters for GMC at the time and these vans were sold directly through GMC dealers. We did a lot of research and wanted a Starcraft as we knew they were well built.
This is a genuine honest van that is in excellent original condition and has had pretty much everything done to it to ensure it should give the new owners plenty of trouble free years. We would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country. It is rust-free, has the original GM paintwork, and drives like a limousine and is a very high specification model. It shifts smoothly, rides smoothly, everything works as it should and is a pleasure to own and drive. Please bear in mind that the van is 19 years old so does have a few age related marks and chips and normal wear and tear. The paintwork is original and polishes up really nice. The only marks on this van is a very minor dent to the rear doors (I have tried to show this on one of the pictures), 2 x very small dents to the side doors and couple of areas on the roof, hood, and fenders where the clear coat has peeled slightly. But thats about it. Not bad for 19 years!
Having spent a long time buying this van and looked at a countless number before deciding upon this one, I am confident you will struggle to find a better van of this age and mileage. The previous owner and I have replaced all that needed replacing! ANY INSPECTION INVITED & WELCOMED.
