Vehicle description

This Jeep started as a super clean 2008 Wrangler Sahara. Its now a pretty bad A$$ V8 Wrangler. Heart is a Chevy 5.3 LC9 Aluminum block LS and a 6l80E transmission from a 2011 Chevy Avalanche. RPM Extreme swap kit was used that provides a CAN bus integration of the GM and Chrysler computers. Everything works, even somethings never existed in a Jeep, like tap to shift.
The Jeep body/drivetrain has 126k miles and the motor is pretty close to the same. The stock LC9 is rated at 320hp/340tq. Motor is pretty much bone stock, only additions are shorty headers, Cold Air Intake and a custom tune from RPM Extreme. The motor/transmission were tuned by Jon at RPM Extreme. Probably easily in the 350+ range on hp/tq. These motors can make well into the 400+ range with really just a camshaft and tuning. Huge difference from a stock Jeep, but cruising around it feels like the Jeep they should have built.

List of Upgrades
RPM Extreme LS Swap kit- Computer, wiring, intake, whole bunch of stuff you can read up on their website. I have the engine cover and pentastar fan swap wiring harness that are not installed. Only thing I do not have is their upgraded Radiator. The 5.3 can be fine with the stock JK cooling. AEV 3.5 lift with Bilstein Shocks Hellwig rear sway bar Yukon 4.56 gears Eaton Rear eLocker Adams 1310 drive shafts- front & rear AEV vented hood, painted to match- also repainted the hood hinges and door hinges- new Derlin door bushings Motometal wheels 17x9 with 35x12.50 Grabbers – 5 matching- spare is brand new, others maybe 5k miles Smitty Built tire carrier & tailgate reinforcement Alpine head unit with SXM, Bluetooth, and car play- factory Alpine speakers and Subwoofer Front Bumper is a Barricade and rear is a Quadratec brand Badlands 12,500 winch Has a Lightbar (combo lights), LED headlights, LED fog lights, rear LED backup lights whole steering system is new with Synergy Braces, new steering gear, new power steering pump, new hoses, new PS cooler, recent synthetic fluid change and bleed It has a custom built full dual exhaust, magnaflow mufflers, and tucked up in the frame for clearance. Sounds good! New Stock jeep radiator New Mishimoto Transmission cooler Transfer case was rebuilt as part of the swap to mount to the 6L80e Transmission has new fluid and filter in last 3k miles Teraflx big brake rotor kit on the front with new pads Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge on the LS OBDII port- lots more data than the Jeep has stock gauges. Optima Redtop Battery Grab handles, lock boxes, floor mats, just tons of stuff. Lots of little parts in a swap like this: Hoses, Camaro Transmission lines, Silverado power steering lines, pulleys, belts, vent lines, etc The jeep plus the parts add up to well north of 40k alone, labor is top of all that. Rubitrux installed the Lift and Gears, Local LS Swap Hot Rod shop helped sort out the engine, then tons of personal labor and love. This thing is awesome. Jeep with a v8 and plenty of power. I built it for more overlanding, so the ride/ driving is very good compared to other jeeps. It will cruise down the interstate at 70-75 no problem (will go a lot faster too). Crank the AC and turn on cruise control and go!
Send me an email if you want more pics or details on everything custom on the jeep. I have receipts for just about everything.
This jeep is super clean and only light off roading. You can’t build it for cheaper. If you want a v8 wrangler today, this it!
