Vehicle description
Great 2006 Big Body Supercharged from a private owner in CT. We use the car to go to the train station and it"s the best car in the world for snow driving (we live up a very steep big hill). Also, we enjoyed the car on frequent trips to Montreal and Quebec City, and it performs like a champ, even in extremely cold temperatures.
It is in nice condition and doesn"t show its mileage, which actually is a ton of highway driving. This one isn"t rusty and has the trailer hitch and towing package, rear entertainment package, and piano wood steering wheel which most "06 don"t have. This is the first Range Rover that I ever towed a trailer with, and it was as if nothing was even behind the car. Tires are newer Pirelli Scorpion A/S plus with decent life left. I service the car at Land Rover Darien, CT and I"ve also serviced the air suspension (works perfectly), I had the transmission rebuilt already (common issue in these, don"t buy one if it hasn"t had the transmission rebuilt yet), and many bushings in the suspension replaced and freshened. I"ve also had the supercharger belts and main belts done. Most recently, I just had all of the brake lines replaced, including the long rear brake lines that run through the chassis redone at the last service.
The original owner who I bought it from was a Greenwich guy and commuted to the city and was frequently driven in the car with a chauffeur. I was originally looking for a big body supercharged but never considered a high-mileage one, however, this one caught my eye because of the insane service records it has. I bought it from him (the original owner) a few years ago and he had it serviced religiously at a Land Rover dealership in Mt Kisco, NY every 5k miles from new. The carfax that I printed out was pages and pages of service history, which sealed the deal for me. I bought it around 120k miles and it now has around 156k.
It"s definitely not a shiny new car and does have some wear for its age and mileage, it"s not perfect, but this is a great truck. I"m only selling it because we bought a replacement train station car and haven"t been using the Range Rover as much as we used to.
The car is sold as-is-where-is and has no warranty of any kind. It is located in Wilton, CT.
