Vehicle description
Here, you are looking at the most under-appreciated and the most dependable SUV of all Toyota history. Featured with legendary 2UZ-FE engine with VVT-i and bullet-proof 5 speed transmission. There are multiple examples of this configuration which passed 1 million miles.
About the history of this vehicle:
-I am the fifth owner of the vehicle. I drove this vehicle more than 2.5 years and 25 K miles. I purchased this vehicle from a Toyota mechanic who was working in Jim Coleman Toyota and drove the vehicle between 2013-2018. Previously, this vehicle was sold as Toyota certified pre-own as well.
-This might be the one of the few rust-free examples you can find. On 7/2018, the frame of this vehicle is replaced under H0F Toyota recall. (this includes brake lines as well). Literally you will have the under-carriage of 3 years old truck with proven to be bullet proof drive train.
Service history during my ownership:
-Oil changes were done in every 4 K miles with Fully synthetic Mobil 1 oil with original Toyota oil filter
-@ 207 K Miles: Brand new head unit Alpine head unit with Android Auto/Apple car play compatibility and back-up camera.
-@ 209K Miles : Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, coils and all liquids ( engine, transmission, break, steering, radiator, front/rear differentials and transfer case) are changed. Fully undercoating the rear axle and trailing frame connection assembly. (rust prevention)
-@ 209K miles: Brand new BFGoodrich KO2 tires including spare as well.
-@ 222K miles: Original Toyota rotors and brake pads on 4 corner, new rear brake calipers and parking brake pads, new front CV axles, trailer brake controller install
Reason for selling:
6 months ago, we purchased a travel trailer (GVWR ~5 K pounds). We towed ~ 2K miles with this vehicle. It was a fantastic experience and rear air suspension helped us a lot. We loved RVing so much that we upgraded to a new trailer with GVWR ~ 10K pounds and fifth wheel which Sequoia can’t tow. We upgraded to a truck for hauling this setup.
Please contact if you have any questions or want to test-drive the vehicle.
