Vehicle description
Hello everyone. I’m selling my 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid with 71,387 miles on it. We have too many cars and this vehicle is just being driven once every few days to make sure it’s running well. This is a one-owner vehicle (Carfax says two, but is counting taking a family member off the title as a new owner) with no accidents and a clean title that still qualifies for Kia’s Hybrid System Warranty that runs for 6 years/100,000 miles from date of purchase.
The car was primarily used as a highway commuter to and from work. As such, it has a fair share of dings and scratches on the hood, but the rest of the vehicle is in great shape. We had the tires replaced at 56,073 miles (roughly 15,000 miles ago) with Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus tires that are $199.78 each on Tire Rack. The tires have been rotated at 63,749 miles and 71,356 miles. The tires have a 75,000 mile warranty and still have plenty of life left.
Car has been serviced regularly using Mobil 1 Synthetic oil. Hybrid electric water pump was recently replaced under warranty. Car passed Maryland Safety and Emissions inspection just last year. Drive belt and accessory belt replaced at 60,740 miles. The coolant has been flushed and the transmission fluid has been replaced within the past 10,000 miles. I have a folder of most of the work that has been completed on the car.
I have the original monroney for the vehicle. Sticker price for the car was $32,655. It has the optional navigation system ($700) and the premium technology package ($5,350). So it’s a fully-loaded vehicle with a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink system, an Infinity Surround Audio System, and much more. The car also has official Kia mats. Four new wheel locks, Kia coolant, and a used quart of Kia ATF fluid are included in the sale.
Asking $9,000. Please don’t send me offers before coming to see the vehicle. I’m available most of the time after 5 PM and on weekends with a notice. I live in Baltimore (Canton) and the car has been parked in an enclosed garage for the majority of its life. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures of the vehicle, don’t hesitate to ask! Feel free to reach me at seven-zero-three 3-one-0 nine-8-1-nine.
I do not need help selling the sedan. I am more than happy to share the vehicle’s CarFax report. *Please don"t contact me with things you want to sell. No, I don"t want to buy a VIN Check from "vincheckupmax.com" or use "AutoAdviceBlog.com" to get a vehicle history report.*
Pros:
- Newer tires with plenty of life and warranty left
- Well maintained
- Minimal scratches, dents, and dings
- Passed Maryland’s ridiculously hard inspection and emissions test
- Fully loaded model with tons of features
- Clean CarFax Report with no accidents
- One-owner car
Cons:
- Body isn’t in perfect shape
- Steering wheel buttons stick at times
- Color on steering wheel is starting to fade
- Scuff on transmission tunnel under rear vents
