Vehicle description
You are bidding on a complete, numbers-matching, 1971 Pontiac Formula 400 Firebird. The engine, trans and rearend are original to the car. Pretty well-loaded car - see Pontiac Historic Services document in the pictures.
Offered at NO RESERVE.
The car is NOT currently running, but the engine does turn over freely with the starter, it has spark and shows oil pressure on the factory gauge. It may run with a carb rebuild and some fresh gas; I just don"t have the time to work on it - too many other projects. That being said, it will need to be picked up with a truck and trailer.
While the car needs restoration, it"s all there and relatively solid. Body panels look to be original to the car. See pics for further description of body.
I have extra parts available to the winning bidder at extra cost. These did not come with the car; just things I have collected for other projects. Some of which include:
-NEW rear body panel -NEW trunk pan -NEW front valance
-Delco remanufactured Quadrajet carburetor (7041264)
-The deck lid that"s on the car has spoiler holes, but I have one without holes
Terms of sale:
I will accept a $500 deposit through PayPal. This is to be paid within 24 hours of auction end. The balance is to be paid via bank wire transfer. This is due within 3 days of auction end. I can work with the buyer on the pick-up arrangements as long as we discuss it ahead of time.
