For sale 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport 1972 Gran Torino is famous movie star known from Clint Estwood movie Gran Torino and Fast&Furious 4. In 1972 Ford scrapped the unit body construction of the previous Torino and reverted to a perimeter frame and ditched the rear cart springs in favor of a Stabul coil spring , four-trailing-arm setup. This particular vehicle is finished in brown exterior over brown interior which is very classy combination. Paint looks to be original and is bit faded in some areas.Rear trunk paint was faded and damaged from the sun and is in primer now.I was quoted $250 to paint it.This is originaly vinyl top car but material was damaged and cracked by the sun.It was scraped,primed and painted flat brown.It is very solid without holes or rust.I was quoted $600 for brand new vinyl top including installation. Recently sending unit was replaced Transmission oil was changed Interior looks pretty good for its age .Front bench seat was redone.Dashboard has some cracks .New one is $260.Headliner in the back is hanging and can be replaced for $350. Car is very solid,frame looks good,trunk looks good rockers look good Runs&Drives good Open to offers No trades Do not bid if you are not willing to pay for it.If you do unpaid item case will be open .
