I am looking to sell my 1960 Ford F-100. This truck is in fantastic shape with 47K original miles on it.
Below is a few of the things we have done to it since I bought it.
1. The engine was replaced with a Ford 302 crate motor about 3,000 miles ago. New Distributor, plugs, wires & a new Edelbrock carburetor. 2. It is very rare in that it has an original "Ford-O-Matic" automatic C6 transmission which was new from Ford and not common on trucks at that time. New cable brackets. Rebuilt Alternator. 3. Prior to my purchase a really good air conditioning system was added below the dash. I had this serviced and charged last year. It works great and was definitely something I wanted for the hot summer months. AC blows cold and the heat blows hot. 4. New custom Pypes exhaust system and X pipe with Stainless tips and side exit. 5. A new Tanks Inc. fuel tank and full custom system. 6. New C6 style front disc brakes and rotors. New wheel cylinders, brake lines and poly lines, rear pads, new coil springs. New shocks front and rear. 7. New power steering pump and new lines. 8. Coy wheels 18" steel throwback wheels. All new tires. 9. I installed a completely new interior. We redid the doors, carpet, headliner and took a seat from a 59 Cadillac and had it recovered with new padding. The seats are extremely comfortable. I had a snap on bedcover made to match the interior color. 10. New Octane Lighting headlight set and all new wiring gives a lot more light than the original ones from 1960. 11. All new Bed Wood Inc. bed system. 12. I also had a new stereo system, wires and new speakers installed. 13. As you can see in the photos, I installed a new gas tank and located it in the bed with a custom cap cover door that matches the bed trim. I did this because the original location on the drivers side wheel well meant that every time you filled up and pulled the pump out, you had drops of gas running down that curved front. This caused the paint to blister. By moving the cap to the bed the problem is removed and the truck is much safer in an accident. 14. The last major thing that I did was install a New American Autowire 22 circuit wiring harness. This part had been backordered because of Covid but I was able to get the new one installed. 15. The distinctive curved front windshield is in perfect shape.
This has been a daily driver for my daughter over the last year. It runs great and has no issues. Total I have about $43,000 in it. The work to this truck after I bought it was done by a resto shop in Frisco Texas with a great reputation. All receipts and records come with the truck.
