Vehicle description
Up for sale is my 2008 Lotus Elise. It"s VERY clean in/out and will be coming with a lot of (tasteful) aftermarket modifications, which I will list below. It"s been a very fun car to drive and SUPER reliable, but I will be moving soon and will be needing a more practical / larger vehicle.
The Good stuff: . Just passed VA Safety Inspections 01/26/22. Just passed VA Emissions Testing 01/26/22 . Has a paint-matched Hard Top Roof (removable) . Has FIKSE Forged Profil-515 Custom Wheelset - Race Satin Black finish (17x7.5" Front & 17x8.5" Rear) - Typically $5,200/Set. . Has new FALKEN RT-660 200-Treadwear Race Tires (205/40R17 Front & 225/45R17 Rear) . LARINI "GroupB" Exhaust System . NITRON 111R/R Street Series (Ride-height adjustable) Coilover Suspension . Difflow 5-Element Rounded Satin Black Rear Diffuser . GRP Contoured (Aluminum) Satin Black Side Skirts. GRP Carbon Fiber Mirrors . Pioneer CD Head Unit & Speaker Amplifier (Mounted behind driver seat) . MOROSO USA Dual (Aluminum) Catch Cans / Air-Oil Separator Kit
The Not-So-Good: . Driver-side window tint has a 3" crease (in the photos) . Has an aftermarket Front Lip (which looks great), but it"s got a portion that chipped off a speed bump (in the photos) . The instrument cluster shows 95K miles, but that"s inaccurate. The previous owner had to replace the cluster because the original one stopped functioning. The car really has about 113K miles on it. . Driver-seat bolster in worn, can be repaired by an upholstery shop (in the photos) . Reverse lockout doesn"t function (aftermarket shift kit should get adjustment for better feel and function) . Headliner on the hardtop was poorly flocked black, can be refinished by an upholstery shop (in the photos) . Paint itself is VERY clean minus TWO light scratches, one on the driver door and other on the rear bumper (in the photos) . The "Unlock" button cover on the key fell off, still fully functional . The only light on the dash is the Tire Pressure, because the aftermarket wheels don"t have TPMS sensors
It"s not a perfect car, but it will turn right on every time and can drive cross-country today without a problem. Not to mention it"s also the MOST AFFORDABLE Lotus Elise for sale in the USA. Being sold AS-IS since it"s a 14 year old car. I"m moving late February and prefer to have it sold a few weeks prior.
