2003 Disco, Many upgrades and pre-empitve repairs done. This is by no means a perfect truck. There are small imperfections here and there. I will try to document as much as I can here and know please, I am a rover fanatic. This only means that I love to tinker with these trucks and tend to know each one I own very well. This truck has been a total blast to own and I get compliments on it frequently. Its pretty clean for its age and most of the issues that could present themselves on these Disco"s I have tended to. Its been a reliable truck and has been a lot of fun! Of course I own no crystal ball so the truck is being sold in "AS-IS" condition.
Head Gaskets done by previous owner around 100k LED lighting inside Sony Head unit with Car Play or Android New Oil pump and all new gaskets Fresh Oil (and oil changes from me, every 3k miles) Cooper STT Tires (five including spare) Off road 16 inch Terra Firma Steel Wheels Wheel Spacers 2 Inch TerraFirma Lift (Springs and shocks, 2020) Terra Firma Shock Towers New Brakes and rotors (2020) New Plugs, Wires and Coil Packs Coil Pack re-location kit New engine pulleys, belt, fan and viscous clutch New Water Pump Fresh Coolant Various SAI parts and valves New PCV Valve New Cats ($$$!) If I were keeping the truck, here is what I would do next: Clear coat wearing on roof. Running boards are nice to have but are, just ok. I"d replace or remove them.
Good to know: Frame patched. I had this done preemptively because I think in a couple years it could have been an issue and I do not sell junk!. The frame is now solid and will be that way for many years to come. Running boards are sagged slightly from years of use. Seats are not perfect. Stained slightly but no tears or rips. Rain gutter plastic is chipped here and there, nothing horrible. Every so often, I get a little rain leak inside, down the front seatbelts. Its very rare but worth noting. I honestly have not hit the sunroof buttons ever. Im completely satisfied in keeping them shut forever!
I have done my best to describe this truck. Again, not perfect but hopefully you have a good sense about it. I do take great pride in fixing things properly but alas, its an 18 year old truck and therefore, no warranty can be offered, nor implied. Its in AS IS condition. Best of luck on the auction.
