Freshly rebuilt Factory 5 GTM. This car has been built to the point that its fully functional and runs great but still has plenty of room to add improvements based on what a new owner would want. It"s perfect for the person who has been looking at the GTM kits ($29,999) and then realizing what the additional costs could be after adding up the other components and services required for completion which could be result in a total investment of $50-$100K, depending on what is desired. The hard part is already done for you! This is a clean Gen 1 car built from a 97-04 Corvette Z06 donor vehicle. It has a 6 speed Porsche G50 gear box. Includes heater and air conditioning from Vintage air, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, SPA gauge set, anti-roll bars front and back, carbon fiber dash-center console, vinyl wrapped carbon printed door panels and leather seats. At near 400hp in a 2300lb car it is definitely a handful of fun. This is the adult version of a GO Kart for the street. Clocks at 0-60 times in the low 3 second range. If geared correctly these cars are capable of 200mph. As to what the car still needs, that"s up to you. Minimum will be new back tires. I think this was a track car in a former life so a street alignment would probably make the tires last longer. The A/C is charged and works but the blower intake is right behind the radiators. Redirecting the air intake to inside the passenger compartment would make it work much better. The interior is complete but starting to show it"s age. There are also many upgrades and accessories available for GTMs. The car has never been registered and I have the Certificate of Origin. Every state has different requirements. In California it would be best to register under SB-100. Then the car would be registered as a 2019 specialty construction. At least that"s how it was when I built my last car.
