2015 Chrysler Town & Country LIMITED PLATINUM.
2015 Chrysler Town & Country Limited Platinum Edition handicap/wheelchair mobility van with VMI Northstar side entry motorized handicap/wheelchair ramp, EZ Lock system and a built-in adjustable anchor/tie-down system for immobilizing a scooter or electric wheelchair during transit. This van has every upgrade option that was available. The van is in excellent running condition with 38,800 miles,2nd owner, granite metallic exterior/black leather interior, V6/3.6L engine(like new/no leaks/gas saver), auto trans (shifts smoothly/no leaks), power heated and power folding side mirrors, power sunroof, power windows, heated steering wheel, power memory / heated / easy exit and entry position leather seats, power sliding doors (left and right), power tailgate, power folding/reclining rear split bench seats, power adjustable brake and gas pedals, power door locks with keyless remote entry, remote illuminate entry, Smart Key, push-button engine start/stop, heated telescoping steering wheel, driver information and setting center, navigation system, AM/FM/MP3/CD/USB/Bluetooth/Auxiliary input/output audio system with steering wheel audio controls, dual DVD player 2 wireless headphones and remote control, AC/Heat, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, multi-stage front airbags with supplemental side curtain airbag, cruise control, alloy wheels, backup camera, backup sensors (park assist), remote engine start, blind-spot sensor (a vehicle based sensor device that detects and alerts from other vehicles located to the driver and passenger side and rear), HID Headlight with maximum brightness at night, fog lights, excellent brakes, excellent tires with plenty of tread, rubberized non-skid and easy to clean flooring, fresh oil change, owner"s manual, 2 keys, smoke-free vehicle. About the VMI Northstar with power in-floor ramp conversion(you can also Google it): The van has a 14"dropped floor and higher ground clearance to reduce scraping and maximize door height and extra head room for taller wheelchairs and scooters. It has power doors and a strong, rigid, and heavy-duty 1,000-lbs capacity in-floor ramp that is quiet and stows out-of-sight and out-of-mind until needed. This creates extra interior space for easy wheelchair maneuverability. The system also allows ambulatory passengers to open and close the doors without deploying the ramp. In case of power failure, the ramp can be easily operated manually. There is an automatic kneeling system (the van tilts and lowers on the passenger/ramp side for easier access and loading) which can be turned on or off. The van has easy to remove driver and passenger seats. The passenger seat area has an EZ Lock wheelchair docking system so that if you have a compatible wheelchair, it can be locked into the same place as where the passenger seat would normally go. The van has an in-floor adjustable wheelchair/scooter anchoring/tie-down system with tie-downs and seat belt-buckle adapter included. All handicap equipment has been tested and is in excellent working condition. The ramp can be operated from inside the van by easy-to-reach switches from the driver’s seat, passenger seat, both left and right inside door posts, and (most importantly) by remote control from outside the van by using the factory remote control for the passenger sliding door. The van looks, runs and drives absolutely amazing. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. As with any used vehicle it has some minor interior normal wear and blemishes due to the age and millage of the vehicle. The only notable wear is on the bottom of the front passenger seat where the stitching is starting to come undone. The reason for the rebuilt/salvage title: I bought the van in August 2020 with 36,000 miles on it for my aging and ill father (now deceased) from an autobody repair shop in Michigan that has a side business specializing in buying, repairing and reselling mobility vans from auctions that have minor damage. Insurance companies will usually "total" a mobility van that has even minor damage, especially if the air bags have gone off, as an over-abundance of caution. Because of the many different types of mobility conversions and the customizations needed to perform the conversions, it is difficult for insurance companies to know much about any single mobility conversion. Therefore, insurance companies do not want to take the potential additional risk or costs associated with repairing the mobility conversions after an accident. Just because a mobility van has a rebuilt/salvage title does not mean that there was significant damage. The last 4 attached pictures of the van are before repairs were made so that you can see how minor the damage was. The body shop bought the van from an insurance company at auction with minor front damage which only needed replacement and painting of the front bumper and replacement and resetting of driver and passenger airbags. The was no flood/water damage, no damage to the power train and no damage to the handicap equipment. The van underwent the Michigan State safety inspection, passed and was issued a rebuilt title. I had the van shipped to Oregon after the purchase and registered and re-titled it in Oregon. This van can be insured and registered anywhere in the US. Notes on valuation/price: The Kelly Blue Book Private Party value on this van without the conversion is $25k. If you consider the loss of value due to the type of title, the value of the van without the conversion would be $18k to $20k. The cost of the Northstar conversion, with optional kneeling, anchor/tie-down, and EZ Lock system is $30-$35k when initially installed. If you reduce the value of the conversion by 50% for depreciation (which is drastically over-estimated), then the current value of the conversion is at least $15k. So, the resulting valuation given the rebuilt/salvage title, mileage and condition is at least $30k. However, I want to finish settling my father"s estate and put this behind me quickly. So, I"m only asking $25k to sell it quickly. I recommend searching other car selling sites to search for Mobility Van, Handicap Van, and then filtering down by make (Chrysler) and model (Town & Country Limited Platinum) to see comparable vehicles. You are saving at least $10,000 with this van due the type of title and how quickly I want to sell it. Feel free to test drive it, have a mechanic look at it, or put it up on a lift to inspect it. If I were not completely confident in this vehicle I would never have bought it for my father. Please let me know if you have any question or would like to schedule a test drive. Please only text me for the initial contact as I have a day job and may not be able to take a call at that moment. I reserve the right to remove the vehicle listing and cancel any sale at any time. I have this van listed on several websites and the sale will go to the first potential buyer to make full payment.
