2014 McLaren MP4-12C Spider in Sapphire Black over Saddle Tan, VIN SBM11BAA1EW003408, 10,692 miles, exceptional condition inside and out, please see detailed description below. Exterior Cosmetic: this is an exceptionally well-loved two owner McLaren MP4-12C in exceptional condition. Contrary to the name Sapphire Black is a deep metallic blue that is beautiful and subtle, accenting the curves of the 12C without being ostentatious. Paint condition is superb, with a recent full paint correction and ceramic coating over Llumar paint protection film on all wear surfaces. The optional lightweight forged wheels are in like new condition without flaws, there are no scrapes on the underside of the front bumper as often found on sports cars, all underbody panels are in place and undamaged, and no chips in the windshield or mirrors. The only exterior flaws are the four factory front license plate mounting holes in the front bumper, a few very light chips in the front bumper (see pictures), a few tiny rock chips on the side intake leading edges, and an area of bubbled paint on the rear bumper near the exhaust outlet where the cover fell over the outlet and trapped the heat (see pictures). Overall the car is striking, and all flaws are very subtle and unnoticeable except for very close inspection. Note that the professionally installed red vinyl wrap accents can be removed without paint damage, which can be negotiated with the sale if desired.
Interior Cosmetic: essentially in like-new condition, with a number of factory upgrades that make the already luxurious 12C an even nicer place to be. The full leather interior is in exceptional condition, and the high grade leather with contrasting stitching provides a soft touch and makes the interior smell amazing. The Meridian surround sound audio system with navigation sounds incredible, but you’ll be listening to the car most of the time instead! All features work 100% correctly including the power retractable hard top, HVAC, performance settings, doors, etc. No smoking, no pets, extensively and frequently detailed. Again, like new condition. Mechanical: as with the remainder of this 12C, the mechanical condition is like new. Full second owner service history with records from McLaren Philadelphia, Dallas, Denver, with local receipts for basic work and upgrades. Major service items of note:

To provide peace of mind the McLaren extended warranty was extended for one year starting 7/20/20, this warranty is transferrable to the new owner. The car was also fully serviced and inspected by McLaren Dallas on 7/20. At this point in time the car needs absolutely nothing, as you would expect the performance is simply staggering in every possible way. The upgraded exhaust is a nice upgrade over the too-quiet factory exhaust, it provides a nice baritone growl that reaches an exotic higher pitch at higher RPMs but has no drone and is not intrusive at highway cruise. The 12C is a unique supercar that provides amazing performance but is still quite comfortable, the hydraulic ProActive chassis control system provides incredible body control with nearly zero roll while also quickly adjusting to the road surface to keep the ride well controlled. It’s a very impressive system that is still being utilized on current McLaren models. Taken as a whole the 12C is a very impressive package with performance still relevant to current supercars, particularly considering the steep discount from new.
Summary: this is a very special car that has been well loved and wanted for nothing, and is only in need of a new home. Purchased from McLaren Philadelphia in 2017, the second owner is ready for something new. Sold with the car covers, manuals, records, and trickle charger, with the second set of wheels/tires available for a negotiated price.
